Move Forward or Stand Still?

13With January coming to an end, how focused are you still on those New Year’s Resolutions? If you are like most people, some of the excitement and energy for achieving those goals has waned. Now is the perfect time to re-evaluate those goals. Ask yourself:

  • Is this goal important to my life now?
  • Is this goal mine or someone else’s?
  • What am I willing to sacrifice to make the necessary changes?
  • Do I have the support I need to make change?

Whatever your answers, you will have more information to guide you forward. This may be a re-commitment to achieving your goals. Use our R.E.A.L. Goal Setting worksheet to help you move forward.

Or maybe your decision is to not to pursue change at this time. Sometimes standing still is the best decision we can make for ourselves. Whether you’re moving forward with new goals or choosing not to pursue a goal be active in your decision and compassionate with yourself.

Share your successes and struggles so we can Learn. Change. Grow. together. What are you moving forward on? What, if anything, are you choosing to be still with?
